When this Pop-Culture Artifacts came to DISC in 1998, their web site suffered from low traffic, partly because the original ecommerce system prevented search engines from
indexing the site (a common problem in many ecommerce systems). DISC implemented a safe and ethical "satellite" page system, which earned rapid and enormous ROI within
months and, to this day nine years later, continues to rank well in the search engines. In 2003 DISC re-built Pophouse.com so that the search engines could spider the
product database, and that solution worked extremely well to increase sales even more. This work was an early case of our current CMS and Database SEO, and though the site
we inherited could be (and later was) improved more for both SEO and people, the results have been superb. In 2002, DISC built HumaneTrophies.net and its e-commerce and
shopping cart system, using open source PHP programming that is easy to manage and is open to search engine spiders. We implemented SEO for HumaneTrophies. In 2003, DISC
set up PPC campaigns in Yahoo and Google AdWords. In 2006, DISC did a usability
re-engineering job on PopHouse.com for conversion rate optimization.

DISC later built and SEO'd DeerFieldBay.com, although, unfortunately, they let a new employee redesign the site, impairing SEO and design. About five years ago,
